The champagne container has been specially developed for the stocking and ageing of champagne and sparkling wine bottles at the end of the remuage cycle (classical method). The cages are made of electrolytically galvanized steel rods and can be stacked up to (4) cages high. In order to optimize space, the cages can be collapsed and folded when not in use. The cage is equipped with a fold-down gate to make loading and unloading of the bottles easier and can be equipped with an optional wired bottom enabling the positioning of the first 4 rows of bottles perfectly onto the base of the cage (whilst the following rows are self-position themselves). Two lateral grids that maintain the position of the neck of the bottles adjacent to the cage walls ensure that all bottles are perfectly aligned one on the other.
