Product Description
600mm Fenox Ground Anchors are hot dip galvanized ground anchors designed specifically for use in rocky or stoney soils. The Fenox anchor is installed into the ground using the 3-piece Fenox installation kit. The Fenox anchor is not recommended for use in soils free of rock. In this case, the anchor could pull out of the ground.
Fenox anchors are 24" long.
To install into the ground:
#1) Place the ground plate (found in the fenox anchor installation kit) on the ground at the location where the anchor is to be installed.
#2) Insert the fenox anchor bracket onto the anchor BEFORE driving into the ground
#3) Insert the rod of the drive tool into the collar of the open end of the fenox anchor.
#4) Place the pointed end of the fenox anchor in the middle of the hole of the ground plate (found in the fenox installation kit). Be certain to angle the anchor to be in-line with the tie-back cable.
#5) Using a sledge hammer, pound the anchor into the ground until the collar of the anchor reaches the ground plate.
#6) Remove the drive tool from the anchor and insert the drive sleeve into the collar of the anchor.
#7) Using a sledge hammer, pound the drive sleeve into the body of the anchor until the collar reaches the ground plate. The (3) internal tenticles will extend out of the nose of the anchor into the soil.
#8) Remove drive sleeve and remove the ground plate from the anchor.
#9) Secure the Gripple Gpak4 cable to the end post and the bracket of the fenox ground anchor and tension accordigly using the gripple torque tool or gripple contractor tool.
