Oak staves sourced from sustainable forests in Lorraine, France with over 800,000 ha of forest.
The forest of Lorraine provide leading source of materials for Laglasse.
The staves are dried in the open air for a period of 24 months. During this aging period, the oak will release its strongest tannins and moisture. With this long maturation process the oak will be ready lend its finest phenolic components and aromas to the wine.
