Wire spreaders are a convenient, easy way of managing the canopy of VSP trellising. Wire spreaders can be mounted onto wood posts or a range of steel vineyard posts. Start the growing season with the lower spread in the open position. Once the shoots have grown sufficiently long enough, close and clip the spreaders together to maintain vertical shoots. If applicable, then open the 2nd (top or middle) wire spreader and repeat the process. Depending upon the model, wire spreaders are made of hi-carbon galvanized wire or stainless steel wire.
Available wire spreaders:
1) (VCTSAR-MG48M) is for use on the MG48M steel post
2) (VCTSR-C1MAXI) is for use on the C1 Maxi post steel post
3) (VCTSAR-C1MED) is for use on the C1 Medium steel post
4) (VCTSAR-UNIVERSAL) is for use on wood posts
